Chemo-dynamical simulations of galaxies
نویسنده
چکیده
We simulate the formation and evolution of galaxies with a self-consistent 3D hydrodynamical model including star formation, supernova feedback, and chemical enrichment. Hypernova feedback plays an essential role not only in solving the [Zn/Fe] problem, but also reproducing the cosmic star formation rate history and the mass-metallicity relations. In a MilkyWay type galaxy, kinematics and chemical abundances are different in bulge, disk, and thick disk because of different star formation histories and the contribution of Type Ia Supernovae.

Chemo-dynamical Evolution of the ISM in Galaxies
Chemo-dynamical models have been introduced in the late eighties and are a generally accepted tool for understanding galaxy evolution. They have been successfully applied to one-dimensional problems, e.g. the evolution of nonrotating galaxies, and two-dimensional problems, e.g. the evolution of disk galaxies. Recently, also three-dimensional chemo-dynamical models have become available. In thes...
متن کاملChemo-dynamical evolution of Globular Cluster Systems
We studied the relation between the ratio of rotational velocity to velocity dispersion and the metallicity (< vrot > /σv-metallicity relation) of globular cluster systems (GCS) of disk galaxies by comparing the relation predicted from simple chemo-dynamical models for the formation and evolution of disk galaxies with the observed kinematical and chemical properties of their GCSs. We conclude t...
متن کاملMODELING THE STAR FORMATION IN GALAXIES USING THE CHEMO - DYNAMICAL SPH CODE Chemo - dynamical SPH code
A new Chemo Dynamical Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamic (CD SPH) code is presented. The disk galaxy is described as a multi fragmented gas and star system, embedded in a cold dark matter halo. The star formation (SF) process, SNII, SNIa and PN events as well as chemical enrichment of gas have been considered within the framework of the standard SPH model. Using this model we describe the dynamical...
متن کاملChemo - Photometric Evolution of Star Forming Disk Galaxy
The chemical and photometric evolution of star forming disk galaxies is investigated. Numerical simulations of the complex gasdynamical flows are based on our own coding of the Chemo Dynamical Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamical (CD SPH) approach, which incorporates the effects of star formation. As a first application, the model is used to describe the chemical and photometric evolution of a disk...
متن کاملChemo – Dynamical SPH code for evolution of star forming disk galaxies
A new Chemo–Dynamical Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamic (CD-SPH) code is presented. The disk galaxy is described as a multi–fragmented gas and star system, embedded in a cold dark matter halo with a rigid potential field. The star formation (SF) process, SNII, SNIa and PN events, and the chemical enrichment of gas, have all been considered within the framework of the standard SPH model, which we u...
